Then how come I'm a stock holder in AmTrak? And I'm a Republican. How come I work with lots of Republican's that work with AmTrak and SEPTA. Stop believing in Half Truths and Lies. Then spreading them.

If you're a staunch conservative Republican, you only care about building highways and subsidizing the airlines, while starving Amtrak. besides, funding Amtrak is considered socialism. Nevermind that Subsidizing the Airlines is the same. the Republican mindset thinks that trains are a relic of the past even though Europe is a century ahead of the US.
