ya an i6 can do 950 hp but it takes an hour to spool up the turbo

A V8 have torque. A v12 does not. Typically, a V12 will have the same hp/tq ratio of a 4 cylinder car, but with more momentum. Look at Ferrari and Lamborghini's V12. It's always 500-600 hp with 350 TQ.
