I agree with Ziggy. At least Sammy still has a career. A kick ass career AND Cabo Wabo! Not to take anything away from Dave's earlier success..I think Dave and Van Halen were awesome. But like you said, too big egos. But you know what? I think even without Van Halen, Sammy would have been a success either way. BTW-love this song and video. Steve Vai sure did it justice. :)

Actually, over the new ozzy, I'll take practically anything, but you can't compare those. Now, Dave and Sammy... Dave had it all with a fucking horrible god like attitude, which coupled with the Van Halen brother's attitudes (Eddie in particular) fucked up the greatest band in history. If it was not for dave, sorry ass sammy and his perm would be still be trying to drive 55.

Ok,, so I will be Logical. While I'll admit Dave had an awesome stage presence, (say,back in the early 80's).. Sammy Hagar has an unbelievable Voice, (octave-range),and,and ,, the man can Play Killer Guitar !!! P.S--- Vai make's the song..

Let's be logical... Van Halen would have succeeded in playing weddings, and shit like that, if it was not for this man: The greatest lead singer ever. Sammy should praise roth's ass one day of every month for the rest of his life.
