all smart cars has a rear wheel drive because it has a back small engine so they are all rear wheel drive
Paganwarrior2000 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Hmmm, you mean a Chevette with a Hyabusa engine? I have a chevy 350 I could cram into it maybe, just need a tranny. Thanks!
fatoni698 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Yeah they are rear wheel drive but my guess would be they replaced the entire drive train and made it chain driven to make it easier to use the hayabusas engine/transmission. A hayabusa engine has about 180hp stock so yes its enough power to make a smart car do donuts. But do the world a favour and don't "soop-up" your geo metro. If you want a small cool car to mod get a Chevette because they are already RWD and cheap. |
