Helen might be a oldie but she is also a goldie. my god she si good. for me this is the first well done western theme of a indian song that bollywood made. i love indian movies from 1950-1980 they were the best ones. this song is good but it was helen that made it spicy.:)

She was about 18-19 when this movie was made (1958). As has already been pointed out, she was born in Burma to an Anglo-Indian father and Burmese mother. I guess that's probably why she was pretending to be a Chinese/Singaporean girl in this song?
