Memories of Tarrant Hinton GDSF

This video compilation is from 1992 and is the Great Dorset Steam Fair at Tarrant Hinton. First off is a 52 key J. Verbeeck street organ, second organ is the now not seen in public 92 key Mortier owned by Jean Watts. I believe the organ is never taken out of the yard now which is a huge shame. The next organ was owned at the time by Willhelm Kelders, way before the Locomotion and Victory was even a glimmer in their builders eyes. Its a 73 Key Limonaire and played very well, if you play the right book, hint hint!!.

EddyI cant think of the guys name but if you have an older GDSF prog he was last there in 2003, he was along the old organ alley with Dawn of the Century and myself when i was tucked in with Roger and the Mortier. I think he comes from Gloucester.Look for a Verbeeck with a front made up of old Gavioli bits, yeh right???.Graham

yes it definitely is (Mary Poppins medley) and I should know because my pen freind is in the Broadway production of Mary Poppins...but if you are over in Broadway then book it because you WILL regret it if you don't!!!

your right, it is a very very long Mary Poppins selection, hence i had to edit it right down.
