I think the video works brilliantly on several levels. The groom appears close to suicidal; in addition to his overall demeanor throughout, note how he flinches when his bride touches him at :32.The operatic, "Carmen"-esque entrance and corset ceremony of the sexy and vivacious bride only exacerbates his anguish. As one with depression I can relate. The contrived fun and overall inanity of the typical wedding reception is also poignantly captured.
