German thrash is in no way a "cheap immitation", far from it! They have their own distinct style and Teutonic sound, and are just as important and influential as the bands you've mentioned.

German Thrash Metal is just a cheap immitation of Slayer and Exodus and Venom. The good German Metal bands are The Scorpions, Accept, and Helloween. But then again that is just my opinion. |
