,as said by metallica..sad,but true...Guitarists rule the band, Better believe that.Drummers work the band,Singers Promote,Bassers deepin (hence; deeeep purple..),Keyboardees and pianists; bring a feeling of beethoven and newcorebeethoven.haha. As that is a feeling of its own.Others bring new levels of music.And change can be good, if not good enough.But, yeah. I agree man, singer has the weakest link to the band. I mean;Who wants to be a promoter?..hm.

k, osborne was cool. but not best ever cool. cmon man. he doesn't have range. he has diffrentiality. Plant on your list; should be first. Just on your list though.

that is a pretty good list, though I think Ozzy kinda ruins it, and Dio is too high. I'm going to surprise some people and throw in some soul singers1. Freddie Mercury2. Robert Plant3. Jeff Buckley4. Jackie Wilson5. Chris Cornell6. Sam CookeGillan is probably tip ten, and Gillan is close too.
