Messiaen, must have detered more people from listening to classical organ music than any other composer,....how can anyone sit and listen to his childish fumblings for more than a few seconds...it surely can't be labeled as music...rather dischordant noises...ugh!

Messiaen's music is very unique, contemplative, and abstract. It really requires a reverberant room. I enjoyed watching and listening. Thank-you for posting it.

The notes at 1:04 from "Puer Natus est nobis" are very sweet and moving to me. Messiaen is truly an innovator, a great composer and real organ virtuoso.

it sounds too simple for me.. sounds like some old childrens cartoon when something evil is going to happen...

Because that's the validation game. Differing opinions are not allowed to exist because there is psychologically only one "right" answer. In order to be good/right, others must be made to be bad/wrong.

Merci de ces précisions, Stef94300.J'allais souvent écouter Messaien improviser à l'orgue de la Trinité, le dimanche matin, quand j'étais jeune
