It does not matter to me! I like to start with all the junk pot metal. Steam locomotives are just prime for scrapping.We one steam locomotive last week and the cutting has already begun. It was sitting in a city park and we persueded the city government to allow us to cut the thing up.We gave the city the $8000 for the thing, hauled it off for $2300 and now we figure it will take about $3700 to cut it up for scrap. We figure it will bring us about $12000 for the worth of the metal.

Say what you want about me!It is still long past the time when steam locomotives should me cut up for scrap!I was asked to comment on the video, and I did! I don't recall any restriction which said, "Positive comments only".So I am free to say what I want! Whether you like it or not!Watching this pig iron being cut down for scrap would be dreamy! Blue flames in 10 places, sprays of red berries and rivulets of molten iron streaming from the cuts. All thrown into a blast furnace!
