the american revolution had more to do with taxation and the banks than it did anything else. benjaminfranklin actually said that the revolutionary war most likely began because of it. the u.s has been struggling against the money changers ever since with andrew jackson winning his career long battle with them. lincoln scored a partial victory over them and kennedy who also issued $4.3billion in u.s notes.The difference being andrew jackson miraculously escaped an assassination attempt.

It actually seems to me that anointed7 is calling for cooperation and respect between the existing tyrannies that govern our world. The american revolution was the colonies' reaction to their lack of representation in the British government while they were subject to British rule. This unjust imperialism is not quite the same as an idealistic, utopian world government, and in my opinion, neither one is feasible. good song though

RHCP is an incredible band in their own right for their own genre. They put quite an incredible touch of their own on this classic hit. They're both great versions of the song.
